Towora is an independent record store operating from Kalamazoo, Michigan. We sell vinyl records and compact discs, with a focus on new pressings and selected reissues across rock, jazz, and soul. We are not a marketplace and we do not host other sellers.
The store started from a fairly ordinary frustration: it became easier to find almost any album on a streaming service than to find a physical copy of the records we actually wanted to own. We kept meeting people who felt the same way—who wanted the sleeve, the liner notes, the act of putting a record on a turntable rather than tapping a screen. Towora exists to keep that option available for listeners in the United States.
We stock a focused selection rather than listing thousands of titles we have never handled. If you have a question about a specific pressing or want to know whether an item is in stock before ordering, email info@towora.my and someone who actually handles the inventory will answer.
Towora is independently owned and operated. We are not affiliated with any other record store, label, distributor, or online retailer. When you order from towora.my, the order is fulfilled by our own small team at the Kalamazoo address listed on our Contact page.
